Most days my job is a dream come true and as a Botleys Mansion Wedding Photographer that’s one of the reasons why. Not only do I get to be part of my clients big day but I get to capture all that magic at venues like Botleys Mansion in Chertsey. I’m a very lucky lady!
Prayman and Jamuna had narrowed their choice to Botleys Mansion because it is a fabulous wedding location but also because it can cater for 300 guests. As Sri Lankans they had planned an abridged Hindu ceremony, followed by a Christian ceremony. This was my first experience of a Hindu ceremony in any form and my clients being well aware of this, briefed me about all that was to come. I am always on alert for moments to capture throughout any ceremony but what I loved so much about this ceremony is how involved family are in the process, from cutting coconuts, to placing garlands, to receiving blessings.. they are right there with the bride and groom. What I loved most was the underlying current of respect that flowed through the ceremony.
