David and Marilyn’s English and French Wedding in Brighton

Wedding in Brighton

David and Marilyn’s wedding was something a little different to all the others I had photographed before. They had waited a long time to get married, in fact they have grown up kids already, but good things come to those who wait and they decided on a wedding in the Church at the bottom of their garden and hold their reception in their back garden.

Marilyn is French and David is English, so their theme was half French, half English and the combination worked brilliantly (I’m sure many might not be easily convinced haha).¬†We started off early with a small marriage ceremony for the immediate family and then after a change of outfit David and Marilyn had a blessing in the same Church with all of their wedding guests.

We then all walked back to the house for their champagne reception and afternoon lunch. The whole day was very relaxed and delightful from start to finish.

A huge big thank you to Zibi and Rebecca for all their hard work on the day. I am delighted to share some of my favourite images with you all.

With love, Catherine x
