A few weeks ago I was invited to photograph the National Wedding Show press event that was held at the Lansdowne Club in Mayfair, London. The event is basically a preview for the press about the up and coming National Wedding Shows. The aim is to have a small number of exhibitors present for the press to meet and get a feel for what exciting things are to be showcased at the show. There was champagne flowing and the lovely lads from Barz8 had their scintillating cocktails shaken and stirred and certainly adding to the buzz!
The National Wedding Show has their spring show at Olympia, London from the 20th to 22nd February and at the NEC in Birmingham from 27th Feb to the 1st March. Please take a look through the images below to get a feel for all the splendour and wedding finery that will soon be upon us when the doors open at London Olympia this Friday.
There were a few tables in the centre of the ballroom beautifully designed by the talents of The Wedding Lounge, Amie Bone Flowers, and Flowers by Roxanne alongside stationers Kathryn Deeley Wedding Stationery and Appleberry Press. The remaining exhibitors wound their way around the room, filling it with sparkle, elegance and decadence.
bareMinerals, a previous sponsor of the National Wedding Show, were on hand to chat about their latest products and quickly make over anyone interested in a bit of pampering. Confetti were there with a table filled with all your decor delights. Rachel Simpson‘s latest shoe designs brought a touch of grace and elegance to the room, whilst Alba Rose sparkled with a large selection of gorgeous rings on display. Daphne Rosa had a stunning selection of unique bridal bouquets and accessories along with Crystal Heirlooms and their table of beautiful head pieces. Treasure on the Wall offered something very different, framed collages in the shape of a country (honeymoon destination perhaps?) and that’s just the tip of the iceberg with what they have to offer.
Cakes, glorious, beautiful, scrumptious cakes. You’ll have to take my word for it, but the stunning work by Jessica Lauren Cakes, Faith Jones, Genuine Cakes and Ann’s Designer cakes made for a mouth watering room and finally in their own dedicated section, the bridal wear featured on the night was supplied by Beyond Burlesque, Silk and Satin, Berketex Bride, Little Bevan, Katya Katya Shehurina, Debenhams and Qiana Bridal. All these exhibitors brought along an exquisite display of dresses a taste of what’s to come at the show. I am certain many brides will find their perfect dress this coming weekend.
Do pop on by to stand C102 to say hi, see some of my latest work and pick up a chocolate Lindt bear in need of good home! 🙂
