August was a great month for weddings and on a sunny Thursday morning Rebecca and I arrived at Felicity’s parents home to a house full of family and friends in the midst of hair and make up procedures. Some getting ready rooms can be chaotic but calm reigned here and that was probably influenced by how relaxed Fliss was on the day.
The lovely Ene was my second photographer on the day and she spent the morning with an equally calm and collected Matthew and his parents and best man. We all met up at the St Mary’s Church in Old Amersham. The Church held special meaning to them as they had grown up in the area.
After their service we made our way to Waddesdon Dairy, a very beautiful wedding venue near Aylesbury. The Dairy is set in gorgeous grounds and it’s very easy to see why Matt and Fliss fell in love with the place. The guests enjoyed garden games and canapés ahead of their meal. The wonderful surprise for all was a beautiful first dance that Matt and Fliss had planned and worked hard on getting right for the day. They wowed their guests and received many whoops and whistles as they lifted, spun and dipped their way through their brilliant first dance.
Below are a few images from their lovely day, thanks for viewing.
